Preparation for Ethics Work - Evidence

The following post is related to the process that you need to go through in order to gather relevant information about the Islamic views on issues relating to sexual ethics.

Taking information from the ISRA PowerPoint on Sexual Ethics in the post below, you are to provide evidence (where possible) that supports the ISRA statements. You are to begin from slide 17 titled 'Sexual Ethics'

For example:

Sexual relations within marriage are spiritually rewarding because in having sexual relations, you are fulfilling an instruction from God

‘When they [i.e., the wives] have cleansed themselves [after menstruation], you go into them as Allah has commanded.
Surah Baqarah (2:222)

This also addresses the idea that it is Harram to have sexual intercourse during menstruation.
